i need a break, from all this. as if coming home from work is not tiring enough, i have to face all this stupid application procedures and constant questions on courses from my parents. its driving me mad. thankfully my mum is still pretty understanding but my dad is just being a prick for now. i never expected everything to turn out like that. its just a tad too much for me to take. sleeping at 3am almost every night isnt helping either, but the late hours are the best hrs left for myself cos i have time to reflect and listen to my songs. but i must say, staying up every night is very taxing.

i'm just glad that i can take everything off my mind when i'm working. and its good that i'm starting to work more, cos i'd rather spend my time at the store than to stone at home watching discovery channel. i enjoy watching discovery channel actually cos they have cool stuff like detective cases and supervolcanos, but you get the idea. and the best thing abt working at cathay is that the ppl there are all genuinely very nice, esp my manager who never fails to make me laugh. also not to forget my dear friends who come to visit when i'm there, or surprise drop-bys like hein hun today. thanks for helping me clear the table dude!

a few days back i suddenly thought of a few friends whom i haven't talked to in a long time. friends whom i used to be relatively close to, but we've all kinda drifted now. i'm glad liangjie texted me on sat, glad that i met melly today after a long time. glad that i ate fish&co and watched 300 today with my class guys, and not to forget a very nice 'long time no see' hug from shijie at PS. lastly, the pleasant phone call this morning from phy abt kite-flying cos i mentioned i wanted to 'fly kites on green fields.' it meant alot, thanks dear (:

augustana has the nicest music to suit my mood now, but looking at the time i guess i shd head for my comfy bed. meeting xinyi to get new scoopy shirts later and then my bodoh friend at night. i'm just not very sure abt what to do between 2-7. anybody wants to meet me?
