Freaks, this is the next sick IT-BAG. Why do I have such rotten eyes, why?!!? And of all brands, it has gotta be YSL (one of my favourites!). I can feel my heart cringing at the thought of working my ass off before I can afford to buy a bag like this. Of course, I do not splurge and I cannot afford to, unlike some other rich girls. I can only gawk. Whatever things I like and post them up here, I probably can't afford (how sad) unless I marry a wealthy man and live happily ever after. Anyway! Vania is coming back in another 5 days and I can't wait! Although we will both be off to the children's camp to help out from the 7th - 10th Dec. BUTBUTBUT she'll be be bringing back goodies from UK yaaayyyy lookout for those. And my fabulous plan to go to BKK is trashed due to the recent bomb blasts (thx alot protestors) kpkpkp. Oh and look! I saw this from my brother's bestfriend's facebook photos. What they do when they are bored I guess??!!? I named this photo - SIAOW.

I've been waiting for this movie! Anyone interested in watching this? The soundtrack is pretty listenable, I just streamed it and my favourites are by The Submarines, Takka Takka, We Are Scientists, Vampire Weekend and Nick And Norah's theme.
Yes and finally I have a 3-day work week next week, so gonna get down to doing other stuff I've been putting off. Like a finally!!??!
Survive work / YES
Sew my skirt / NO
Sign up my FTT / NO cos I woke up late
Get more sleep / MORE TO A YES
Get mum's birthday present / OH NO
Start using the SLR / NOT YET
START DIETING / SORT OF
Okay thats bad I see more NO-s than YES-es. No more time left since Im working tmr till 5pm, then rushing off to get my nails done for Sunday. Sunday would be fully taken up with my cousin's wedding + wedding dinner at St. Regis. Yes its the six-star hotel.
Anyway I was window shopping UO again and they really have some nice things going into my wishlist. I really wished I stayed in the States when I saw THIS.

I'll post pictures next time there are too many many but in the meantime check out this New York designer, Samantha Pleet and her line for UO: RAPSCALLION.

Okay things I shall accomplish this (busy) week:

Christmas is coming soon, which means the year is coming to an end. That also translates to the start of a new school semester ohhhhnooooooo. I hate to think that my holidays are going to end in approximately one and a half month's time. What the, and I don't even have the chance to go to Bkk, all thanks to the bomb explosion yesterday.
How awful. I guess I have to continue to rely on local/overseas blogshops and make use of the year-end sale. I know the recession is here, and that I should be spending wisely. Yes I am! I mean window shopping is almost like my second life (??), and I kinda enjoy it. My aim is to get my hands on a new pair of jeans, one/two new pairs of heels/wedges, maybe an oversized clutch, better still if it has studs on them, find studs so that I can DIY my own things, get down to sewing my skirt, maybe try ripping my old shirt and to get myself a leather biker jacket. Okay make that pleather, Singapore is too hot to wear leather.
Ah yes just to let you people know, I haven't gone down to the driving centre to register for my FTT and neither have I paid a visit to the Salvation Army thrift stores I've been wanting to go since mid-year. Great isn't it?? These two, are definitely under my 10000 things to be done before 2009.
I'd like to believe majority of the world are still single and free, so that I could live another day trying to console myself. Okay why do I make myself out to be some pitiful kitten when in actual fact I tell everyone I enjoy this freedom of having no strings attached to anybody? You're right I think I am somewhat, in denial of my innermost emotions.
Let's face it. Who doesn't want to have a lover? In some point of your life, I'm sure you dreamt of all the scenes from those sweet romantic movies and wished it happened to you in real life. The fact is nothing in this world could be that perfect. My friends tell me its because I have too high a standard, really?? I'd beg to differ - if you were me you would do the same, I think.
So there were some occasions I admit I played with fire, but at the very least I was trying to find love back into my life again. Obviously didn't happen, but its better off like this now then to regret on my folly. Is it so friggin' difficult to open up again? I honestly did try, but they all failed because it just didn't feel right at all. I wonder when Mr. Right is going to appear, haha.
Drink to all that we have lost
Mistakes we have made
Everything will change
But love remains the same
I'm soooo exhausted. I think mainly because I lack the sleep I need since I gotta get up at 9am for work on most days. This totally defeats the purpose of a holiday - I'm supposed to be able to sleep late and wake up late.
Anyway I finally had the chance to go to Timbre, and the band was pretty awesome. Plus the pizzas were great and not expensive. Must go there early again and enjoy the yummy food hehe. The supposed class gathering was erm as usualy a failure, but at least I got to see STQ after 2 years! Haven't seen him since the day we went back to CJ to collect our results. Yeah longgggg time.
Okay I'm really going to crash and burn now I dont know how I'm going to survive tmr at work, with the expected mad crowd during saturday afternoons (OH MAN I DONT WANNA THINK ABT IT) + its only me and Nat (this new girl in RJ) + I'm going to watch Madagascar 2 tmr night. Freak, long day.
Alright, the rain's finally stopped and I'm so glad for that. The stupid weather is to blame for my very elegant half split I did along the walkway from Cathay to Paradiz. Thinking of it makes me laugh but feeling the pain + looking at the bruise on my right knee reminds me of the embarrassing ordeal.
So, the army boys have 'ORD lo' and as expected, Zouk was pretty packed with them graduated soldiers. Can I even call them that? Haha but yeah Mambo was pretty fun I'm getting the hang of it yknw. Like for baby/girl you do this sillouette of a woman action HAHAH and for do/build is the typical clenched fist stacking one on top of the other repetivitve movement like the actions of a children's song. I think I do heart/love the best. <3
Z and Josh told me to beware of Ang Mohs hahaha and they were right, there were alot of them. Luckily none pounced on us, they were busy with other people. But I met a few familar faces, and I waved to someone from class whom I don't talk to eventhough we've seen each other so often + we take same bus home.
Okay, I'm deciding if I should go to the Biennale later since I havent been to the paid ones. But I'm so lazy haha and I still gotta go sign up my FTT + figure out how to use the SLR. YES SLR WOOHOO but film though, gonna make sure I don't waste my shots.
Exams are finally over but I'm so tired I don't even feel like celebrating. Plus the MAB paper totally killed everyone's mood. Anyway I'm heading back to Cathay on monday, hmm visit me if you guys are free. I hope its not awkward... I'm kinda lazy to make new friends haha.
I shall post more note-worthy things, and a list of To-dos!

French Moho Vintage
And check out this sick dress from Libra Vintage that had a winning bid of $89.98 USD. I wonder who won it, she must be the happiest person on earth. I would totally be thrilled to find a studded dress like that. Okay and lastly, the two pairs of shoes I wish I had. (Actually I wish I had every pair that I posted hahahah)
I try to hide it well but in all honesty I'm pretty stumped that I screwed up the paper I thought was going to be chickenfeet. There wasn't even ALOT to study, compared to Marketing/Law, Econs was really minute. Can't believe I panicked only at 5pm the day before and frantically tried to squeeze as much information as possible into my pea brain. The stupid feeling I had moments before entering the exam hall, I just knew I would blank out.
BLANK BLANK. MIND BLANK.
I'm quite disgusted with myself for not focusing. But its over, so I can't do anything but to hope that I won't (touchwood) flunk. And to think I had the mood to meet my mum for shopping after that. I must have been escaping from my half depressed soul.
Anyway I bought myself more black things, black heart belt and a black laced top which I'm still trying to figure out how to layer. I really want a laced dress though, pictures up next post. Right now all I want to do is to sleep and get up tmr morning to make sure I gulp down chapters of MAB to make up for my sorry regrets. Just 4 more days to hang on!
Amidst my studying hours, here's wishing you a Happy 20th! Its been a while..., but no of course I haven't forgotten about you dear. Seeyou after my exams pls, but meanwhile stay happy because its your birthday (:
