Maybe for once someone will thank God for bringing termites into her house, and yes thats me! My mum had to clear the storeroom today so that the people can check if them stupid termites had invaded there. And guess what she found!??
A Yashica Electro 35 GSN from 1973.
I'm praying that it still works after being kept in the dirt for so many donkey years. My dad prolly used this like 20+ years ago when he went to Europe. Well the leather case and the insides of the camera were kinda mouldy, but generally the whole exterior is in awesome condition. Needs cleaning, repairs and replacements, and hopefully it'll still work so that I can become its new owner hehe.
I think JJ was telling me abt this rangefinder when he was going to HK few months back. Almost like a Leica. The GSN is the fourth edition of the Yashica Electro 35 rangefinder cameras and this one has a PC pocket for a flash extention cable so yay to night photography too!
Okay I REALLY REALLY hope I don't get all hyped up for nothing because I just bought slide and b&w films from a spree online and I was hoping to get a good camera in the near future. Well I found a gem at home I guess I'm rather lucky half my wish has came true. It had better be in working condition if not I'll be super sad.
Ahhh back to reality. I have more headbands to sew, marketing project stuff to write and school work to do. Admist all that, I need to find time to go treasure hunting and stream my korean drama and rmb to eat my meds. OMG I forgot to eat my meds! Okay bye I'm off.
