I realised I never wrote about 2009. I mean reflection on the year that is. I think all this laziness has again crippled my ability to give a care to such things. It somehow bothers me how little I care these days. I used to be someone whom people could turn to when they had problems whatsoever, but I don't really see myself fufiling such a role in most people's lives anymore. I feel sad, almost to the point of pity for myself and the state I've become. Like such a worthless and useless friend. And it also bothers me that I'm losing many friendships due to the lack of initiative and effort as well as distance. Isn't it unfair that I have to be the one trying to keep things going? Just shows how much of a friend I am to them.
I'm not sure if 2009 was good or bad for me. Well, the friendships that matter most to me have definitely grown stronger despite being busy with school and stuff. I am really thankful for that. Other than the fact that I turned 21, and had a hangover the morning I was flying off to Taiwan, there wasn't much going on as usual. School definitely was a killer, and holidays were so not holidays when we had assignments due. My love life was non-existent, and it doesn't bother that much to me because I'm quite happy the way I am now. Of course, it would be nice to have someone to share my life with but that will have to wait.
So, 2010. Its only halfway through Jan and it seems like so many things have already happened. Well, at least I have issues other than school to deal with and it might not be a bad thing. We'll just see how things turn out from here, I'd prefer to take things slow. And with a one-day school week coming up, it will be perfect for some solitary time to think about all the things in my head. However, someone pls remind me to do my assignments as well. Its my final year in uni and I cannot afford to do badly. My grades now are already bad enough.
Alright, that's about it. 8 more days to The Killers! Feel excited..!
